Grutman is rich as fukk, even if it was 100,000, that ain't shyt to him. Worth it for him just for the publicity alone.

Aside from that, they more than made up for it by tripling the table minimums for everyone else that wanted to come in there and party with the Heat. Story is HUGE, there's tables everywhere you look, so I'm sure they made a killing.

Not to mention, there was a mob of people standing outside willing to pay $250 just to get in that night, knowing the Heat were partying there. Almost went myself, but I had to work early the next day.

I laughed when I saw out of towners who don't know a damn thing about down here saying "LIV is gonna be crazy tonight" on Twitter after the game, like Story hasn't been the new hot spot since it opened around New Years. Dead ass, I can't even remember the last time I went to LIV, but I go to Story like once a month and it's been packed every single time.

Dude is smart. Thats good publicity, gonna make more people come, and fatten his pockets up. Only nikkas that dont understand promotion are complaining saying they shouldnt have comped it.

Story's table minimum is 1,500. The VIP manager is a good friend of one of my boys...I hit her up the other day to find out.

Nikkaz think people normally throwin' money away like Game in VIP :heh: In most clubs in the MIA you are GOOD with 3 stacks, if you're spending more it's because you want to support the club owner's children's future. Most of the cats you see with 10-20 bottles are getting comped so the regular joes will buy one.

Yeah, I was also going to say that they didn't really lose $100k. Clubs sell bottles/ drinks at gross margins of epic proportions. The average retail price of Dom is around $150(1999 vintage) at a jaw dropping margin of more than 40 to 50% from the wine/ champagne making companies. Grapes aren't that expensive to farm and from all the work-organised champagne tasting events I have attended, price and taste don't necessarily go hand-in-hand.
Stupid margins charged at clubs are one of the reasons I only go there once in a while; Im planning on checking out of the stupid lifestyle and rather increase the money I invest.

At the top.
this guy also owns LIV nightclub..

but the tab was 100,000....but the actual bottles were $300 a piece, so he really paid market value so a total of no more than 8,10,000.

if he was gonna sell it at 'club' market which is like 30000x more, then it would be 100k.

Someone who understands their math. The promotion this guy got for his club is the cherry on top. He's just winning out there

Aint like dude is hurting for money. He's more than likely a millionaire himself with owning Story and Liv. Not to mention these players probably come in there on the regular and drop several thousand like it's nothing. So he'll make that back plus a lot more.

No different than what the government does for rich people.

Theyll take your money (poor people) every day (taxes) and then give a free pass to the rich people just so they can have the association with them and reap any benefit they can from that relationship

club makes regular (poor) people pay for drinks night in and night out, then pick up the tab for rich people like the Heat for the benefit of having the relationship/connection.

-after the shyt I've read in the 'pop bottles' thread from "The Booth" why would a club owner do this? I can understand a few bottles but $100,000 dollars worth:mindblown:

Micky's been through a tough year with all the problem with Carnival Cruise Lines. You could see it in his eyes that this year has worn him out. Taken some HUGE financial hits. Let's cut the guy a break :manny:

you have the whole miami heat celebrating winning the nba championship in your club drake and every other celebrity in town in there also

Imagine how much you're charging at the door to get in there. He made that 100k back very quick between the door and ballers trying to pop a bottle and party with the miami heat.

Plus most places in any city would comp a tab if there sports team won the championship and went there to party

the returns from him giving that will be worth way more than he gave away...

he did himself a favor w/ that...

from philanthropy to corporations giving shyt to celebs, they are giving to get shyt back

very few people literally "give shyt away" (considering the grand scheme of things) in situations comparable to this
