He is not nearly the cancer Stephen Jackson was and the Spurs found a way to make him "play the Spurs way". Wade and Mario love the dude.

Capt Jack was a nutcase but at least he was a competitor. Beas has probably never worked on his game ever since he left k state. At this point in his career potential goes out the window and it's more about what have you done lately. If Beas couldn't contribute to bummy teams like Minnesota and Phoenix what makes you think he's gonna do anything for Miami. You can't expect Beasley to have the same role player success that Miller and Ray had since they both had good work ethic before they came to Miami. At least with the Oden signing the Heat can hope he plays well since the only thing holding him back was his health and not his work ethic, Beasley I'm afraid is a lost cause and the Heat ain't gonna get anything out of him. There's more to 5 on 5 basketball than being athletic and scoring 20+ pts once in a while. For every point he scores he will likely give up at least 2 to the other team same thing with rebounds and hustle plays.

Bron wanted Mike Miller on the Heat, they had to move Beasley to make room for him.

I think it's a net positive for the Heat, he's better than anything they could have gotten in free agency or through a trade. Even if he plays half assed he's still a better option than James Jones or Rashard Lewis at this point.

who do u think they should add with the mmle?

They should just save it at this point, see how Oden does in training camp / during the season and if they need to look for a big like they did with Andersen.

Come on fam, he's much better than Lewis at this point in his career.

Pretty much.

I'm not his biggest fan, but I'm not gonna spit in the face of what would easily be our 4th best offensive talent if he sticks around. Miller is gone and if Haslem doesn't bounce back, there's about 20 mpg behind the Bosh/Bron/Battier trio that I don't want Shard using.

maybe as a starter, but coming off the bench he is not a game changer or tempo changer. Doesn't give instant offense. He has moments on then disappears. realistically we shouldn't expect much more from him than rasard lewis gave unless they decide to give him extended minutes. plus on defense he's :gag:

Nah, Lewis couldn't be featured in any sets outside of kickouts, when Beasley is on the floor with LeBron he can be used in the pick/roll or pick/pop. There's more versatility to his game than Lewis, who can't really do much of anything now. Also, playing with LeBron & Wade takes all decision making out of the equation for him, they'll just use him as a finisher.

Just being younger than Lewis and having mobility makes him better :manny:
