Disappointing and very true.Let me bring this thread to reality for a sec. It's easier to fire a cop for what they do on their personal life that has no impact on you or the community they serve in than if they were to shoot an unarmed black man

But for real, Haitian kids in South Florida are way different than they used to be. Haitians born post-1980, aren't really gunning for that "Model Minority", "Good Negro" status. The ones born post-1980 aren't cow towing for Whitey. They're doing whatever they want. It's no longer JUST church and school for them. Haitian girls are wilder than ever.

Whoa, I'm Haitian myself, BUT I REFUSE to pin this on AA's. Haitians are doing bad all by themselves. Violence and drugs are rampant in Haiti. Yeah, alot of Haitian American kids are emulating AA's as far as speech, accents(ALOT of Haitian kids in South Florida speak and sound like African-American Southerners) but the behavior of Haitian-American kids is on Haitian-American kids(and the system of course). There are plenty of successful and powerful AA's to emulate, but those Haitian kids chose a different path. Too many times, Haitians try to pin this on AA's, as if there aren't drug traffickers or prostitutes who are 110% culturally Haitian.
I agree with everything you you said. I didnt want to make it seem like AA's are the reason why some Haitians act like hood AA's. I was pointing out that its unfortunate that they chose to emulate the worst of the worst AA's when they touched down thats all. Im sure they saw plenty of cool AA's to look up to but chose the other route. Thats unfortunate.... Don't even get me started on the stories I hear from my boys about the shyt that goes on in Haiti I could write a fukkin book
