Glen Powell and Michael B. Jordan are in talks to star as James “Sonny” Crockett and Ricardo “Rico” Tubbs, respectively in the upcoming film.

Sources tell Nexus Point News that Universal’s upcoming Miami Vice remake is gaining traction by potentially finding its two leads. Glen Powell and Michael B. Jordan are in talks to star as James “Sonny” Crockett and Ricardo “Rico” Tubbs, respectively in the upcoming film.



Joseph Kosinski (Top Gun: Maverick) is set to direct with Dan Gilroy (Nightcrawler, Andor) penning the script based from an earlier draft by Eric Warren Singer (Top Gun: Maverick). Dylan Clark (The Batman) will produce with Kosinski.
