Black men should become cops, ,,,

You could have just said that. That’s the problem right there, we don’t have nearly enough representation on the police force currently. We need more black men as cops who know what’s it’s like to be looked at as a threat simply based on the color of your skin. Without that happening it will just be majority white men who look at us as subhuman criminals.

but there is such a stigma that you are betraying your race or becoming a c00n if you join the police. It’s a circular argument.

bottom line we need a ton more black cops on the streets period. But coli logic says there is no such thing as a black cop so you’re automatically a c00n once you join. So what’s the answer here…

real talk it’s good. One time I went to a party out here in ft Myers, Florida someone called the cops cause everyone was parked on the side of the road. Black cops showed up told every to park somewhere else knowing that the house party had weed smoke coming out the house. They just chilled outside and left us alone while blasting loud music. If that was white cops they would come in with dogs, breaking in a entering looking to hem people up for etc doing extra shyt. Black cops know everyone just having fun and can relate that why we need them. Treat us as human beings.
