I don’t have Low self esteem I’m not sure how being honest is seen as low self esteem. You know damn well what you are saying isn’t true. Michael Jordan is only who he is due to fame/clout. Where I come from Puerto Rican’s congregate with each other, have exclusive gangs and have their own neighborhoods—they are not considered black but yes I knew by the time I entered college which was a little more diverse that plenty of Latinas like thugs (thugs within their own communities and within ours).

Anyone who knows me knows that I don’t consider mixed people the same as black people with two parents too. Frankly I find it insulting to even say that a non black parent can make a black child and I say that as someone that has a child with a biracial man.

Also, I didn’t say the few black girls at my school went to the hood to get guys, I said my girls—meaning my specific friends. Because here’s the other reality: the few Brehs I went to school with were mostly dating white girls. So girls can’t reject who’s already rejected them lol.

Now why my girls went to the hood to meet guys? It was the easiest way to have access to a lot of Brehs in one setting. In the white suburbs, Brehs and brehettes are scattered and back then you never knew if the Brehs fukked with black girls or not. But one thing you did know is that hood Brehs did.

Now there’s nothing wrong with hood Brehs but anyone who knew me at the time knew I was simply too bougie and liked pretty suburban boys. I also never had an issue pulling one, while admittingly my girls had better success when they went to the city.
