To be honest, he was a good scorer every time he touched the floor. Starting out with Miami was awful for him, and he was solid next to Wade for those 2 years, but I think Pat Riley kinda broke him mentally and Spolstra was an awful coach during that time period (worst 3rd quarter coach in NBA history over those 2 seasons). He was good in Minnesota too.

I honestly just think he never landed in a situation that was good for him. He only played for bad teams and no matter how good he was on good teams, coaches never gave him the playing time to have a major effect on a season.

I don't think Melo is in good enough shape to just jump out into the one on one shyt, Beasley has been hopping consistently and Melo been out the league for 3 years now. Melo would have to get a month of training in before he was ready imo.

I don't think Beasley got anything to lose, Melo does. It's a lose lose for him. The only thing I'd say is he prolly shouldn't be talking shyt but that's what sells those podcasts anyway

Wed be lucky to see a real 1v1 honored on video in the next decade imo. The risk is too high for anyone who has a legacy to uphold and perception to build.
