Beasley grew up around the area I grew up. He's a few years older but I'd always hear stories about him just being a fukkboy. Egging the principles car type shyt. Dude went to like 6 different high schools in 4 states

It baffles me that Michael Beasley still has a few apologist out there.
All I have to say about Beasley is this: You're looking at the second pick in the NBA draft. Second fukking pick in the fukking NBA draft. Again second mother fukking pick in the motherfuking NBA draft.
Some of my fellow Heat fans were delusional trying to blame Spoelstra for Beasley being a bust. Spoelstra had every reason to make Beasley of star. Him and Keith Askins put their names and reputations on the line goint to bat for Beasley when Riley clearly wanted to trade the pick. Riley pretty much said on National fukking TV that he didn't want Beasley and wanted to trade the pick since he knew CHI would take Rose. He said that shyt on national TV less than 10 seconds after he realized he wasn't getting the #1 pick . Spoelstra and Asking begged him and talked him out of it and this is how Beasley rewarded them. By the first summer leagues game Beasley had already shown us he ain't about that Heat culture of hard work when Askins wanted him to post up smaller players and the flamer just wanted to stay outside launching jumper after jumper.
I had the feeling he would be a bust. But then eventually became a believer during his second year in the middle of the season. But by the time we reached the playoffs and in that series against Boston there was one play where I totally lost it and wanted him traded immediately. Even Dwyane Wade wanted to punch him after that play (Wade violently yanked him by his jersey to ask him what the fukk was wrong with him)
