Does the E have a training program for broadcast talents? You don't hear about people on NXT or FCW that are moving up the ranks to the main show. You figure they would use some of their minor programming (Superstars, Main Event, Slam, NXT, etc) to bring on newer on-air talent.

Styles needs to be on the mic, he is leaps better than Cole and King. I was watching old matches and its amazing how sharp King used to be on the mic as a heel. Cole was garbo from day one.

Cole been there for a long time though.. so its like dude deserve to be where he at I guess. He can do the play-by-play thing, its just that doing that + holding a character is where I see faults. It didn't work when he was a super a$$hole and its not working when he's a super face.

King was meant to be a heel announcer... this nice guy shyt is just lame with him. Dude use to be legit hilarious but now he just a soft ass carebear with his PG announcing . But I kind of understand his position.. JR was the moral good face he could play off of, throw jabs at but at the same time know JR would hit back. With Cole.. he just can't do it. JR sucked the past 2 years too..i dont wanna hear that "bring jr back" shyt. Cole sucks but he works with the pg model...JR and Styles are great when the product is edgy and more masculine. Hearing JR try to commentate during the pg era was sad because he was limited and we know this.

It seems as though the product is turning around because lets be honest "im gonna kick your butt" from 08-2012 was more g than pg. i hear "Ass" on pg nbc sitcoms more than wwe. So when i hear them say puss, ass, bytch, and common life foul language suggests they're letting the reigns loose again.

Im of the thinking they need a new announce team PERIOD. Josh Matthews is too nice and a puppet for vince so that wont work...I actually liked Grisham but he was the same. Heel Lawyer can still work and i dont understand why that can't go back.

I'd take a new team before having JR back full-time, and I can't even use the PG excuse... he just didn't seem as into it as he used to be. And really, we can only sit around and cry for JR for so long. What's gonna happen when he gets really old, we gonna wish he could roll his ass out there in a wheelchair every week just so we can hear his voice again?

Cole has pretty much outlived his usefulness as an announcer... his early/mid-2000s years on Smackdown were good, and that's about as good as he's gonna be. Lawler has done it too long too- he's pretty much like Heenan in those last couple years at WCW, he just likes the check.

If JBL really likes the job, he should stay and become the main color, but I don't know who could do play by play. Matthews just doesn't seem ready for that yet...

JR has kind of fallen off somewhat the past few years but he will always be better than Cole. I think they need to hire and groom a young announcer since they wont go back to Ross or use Styles. Which are two of their dumber decisions they have ever made.
