Michael Irvin thinks Michael Vick is stupid.

Michael Irvin's overarching point is correct but he could have worded it in a more eloquent way, than using the word stupid. But I chalk up more to a lack of vocabulary and the inability to expand his vernacular. It's really poor analysis. Michael does need to preserve his body, a few more cracked ribs and he'll be out of the league by 2015.

its just not vicks size thats the problem, hes just fragile. jeff garcia was 185 soaking wet and he took hits like no other, i was always amazed how his body held up in the nfl

This. It used to amaze the hits Jeff would take and still play, that game when he was with the Bucs and he got hit in the face and was spitting blood while still qbing was hardcore. Abilities aside, you can't ever say Garcia didn't play through the pain. It is amazing how someone like Garcia can take it and someone like Vick more or less can't, I give Vick props he tried to play with busted ribs so I wouln't say he's fragile but he really isn't built for hits. He defintely seems to have a 3 hit limit per season.

I'll always appreciate the do whatever it takes atititude Mike plays with but It is stupid to continuosly put your body on the line when you know you're prone to injury and you're one of the most important if not the most important player on the team.

Somebody calling him out might be what he needs. A healthy Vick is a damn good quaterback.

i remember in a playoff game vs gb jeff garcia was rolling to the right and gilbert brown hit him facemask to facemask and garcia literally had flesh hanging off his face

He ain't lying tho. Vick been in the league 12 years and he still hasn't learned to slide or get out of bounds to lessen the hits he takes. It's one thing to do it when you're rarely hurt but when you have an injury plagued career it is stupid to not change.
