I wouldn't even say he was on drugs as such. The level of stress he put on his body and the anxiety he probably felt daily meant that he couldn't sleep like a normal person. I can't imagine the shyt going on in his head every night when he's trying to rest. Lawyers, performance anxiety, tabloids, etc. If the overdose didn't kill him I wouldn't be shocked if he just ended up dying of a heart attack before he hit 70 like many stressed black men.
