Like the genre itself is one big mj spinoff. So yea by far the most influential ever.

I would even go as far as saying that mj is the most recognizable/influential person in history. Not just music.

Prince is awesome. He's like the Great Lakes. Biggest bodies of freshwater in the world. No other lake even comes close. But Michael Jackson is an Ocean. Just way bigger and more incredible is so many ways. Not hating on Prince because it's unfair to compare anyone to Michael Jackson. He makes everyone else look foolish on the modern pop music tip. You need to go back to Mozart to find something comparable.

Prince is definitely a talented singer, but OVERALL no other musician is touching Michael Jackson.

Saying that though, I wish the both of them could have formed an alliance rather than let their ego and other b.s. get in the way. Can you imagine if they came together and made an album back in their peak?
