I agree.
Usher got hits, classic albums, longevity, and an identity of his own, but he models himself from that MJ mold.
Probably the only male artist that can sing and dance simultaneously on an exceptional level besides mj of course.
I almost wanna say that Chris Brown is like LeBron in the aspect that once he came on to the scene he took some of Ushers spotlight(kobe). Usher wasn't able to bask in being the man for as long as he should have because it was a fresh phenomenon getting compared to mj all of the sudden.
The only thing is that Chris Brown isn't better than usher in anything minus dancing(arguably).
