The attack dogs were called off because Rogan backed off his covid views. A black celeb going at Rogan now will likely get that celeb blackballed out of the industry because Rogan is a huge moneymaker. If you follow the money, you can largely determine the actions that will be undertaken. Whoopi and Nick Cannon offended a class of people who actually control the bag, so nobody will come to their aid publicly because they don't want to get blackballed.

Therefore, the recent attacks against Rogan WAS agenda based, despite Rogan being racist. The reality is that nobody aside from black folks care about racism against blacks, which is why you don't see any of the 'allies' still trying to get him off the air. They cared about his antivax views and bringing up his racism was a tool to accomplish that and once the agenda was accomplished, mission accomplished and Joe goes back to being protected. Blacks in the industry aren't going to come at him publicly because they will get that call to shut up or get blackballed. You see how quickly India Arie and Tank backtracked.

Joe was never going to be destroyed, but he was going to be disciplined publicly because he had a 100 million backup offer from Rumble if Spotify dropped him. They're not getting rid of their big moneymaker because he has some racist views against blacks. They couldn't care less. If he offended the same class as Nick Cannon or Whoopi, things would be different.

Man we all know how fukked up that ape joke is, but I like what charlamagne said on a podcast how he always admired rogans self awareness. When rogan said the ape joke, most clips cut out what he says afterwards. He says "we walk INTO planet if the apes, we walked INTO africa" he immediately knew he fukked up, and then said "that was a racist thing to say, planet of the apes doesn't even take place in africa". Then he goes on to talk about it being a positive experience. A true racist would double down on his comments and this was 12 years ago before cancel culture. The same with the N word, he used it in context for years but stopped doing it years ago.

I'm not telling anyone how to feel, if you feel he's racist then that's just what it is. But let's also not act like he wasn't giving up n coming black people a platform as well. Mrs Pat, Brian Simpson, Gary Clark Jr, Daryl Davis just to name a few. He doesn't just have right wing nuts, if you look at all his guest he really does have a big variety of people from different backrounds

I remember the planet of the Apes reference because I learned about it here in the Coli.. I didn't know who this CAC was until this pro black website informed me of his existence.. That was well over a month ago it it was just one thread..

What happened was the media put batteries in a lot of these nikkas backs, and reminded them they needed to be outraged, then sent them into action.. Now we're here..

Nah ppl been criticizing Rogan for his ape/gorilla remarks (among other things) but nobody cared to listen to the rightful criticizers and choose to ignore us.

For instance, there are threads on here of posters bringing up Joe's racist animal comparisons and insults months ago/past few years, but because of the fandom, this man has in TLR those posts would be purposely skipped over and paid no mind by many with little to no daps.

So the theory that Black ppl haven't been speaking on Joe's racism prior to his covid views isn't true and even if he never spoken on anything covid related these issues eventually would've been exposed due to him being now a part of the mainstream world of podcast streaming.

The difference is that Joe is on a big platform (Spotify) now so in turn ppl are more aware of his existence and the kind of content he makes so his racist antics couldn't be ignored or brushed under the rug any longer due to the fact he's in a bigger spotlight (mainstream wise) compared to his pre-Spotify contract days where he was somewhat “underground” with less exposure to the general public.
