The Cavs 60 win seasons left with Lebron. So idiots need to stop giving the supporting cast of average players props as if they contributed outside of orbiting around Lebron.

Yeah, I'm not sure how the Cavs not winning the finals those years was a mark against Lebron. It seems more impressive that a team full of garbage plus Lebron won as much as it did. Just like with Rose in his MVP year, teams were able to expose the lack of depth for the Cavaliers during the playoffs.

The truth is, there are few players that you can simply plug into an existing team and would automatically make it better. Lebron might be the single most valuable building block for a team, even more so than Jordan.

:heh: So hold up, last year, when the Bobcats were the worst team ever, they didn't rip MJ and gave him a complete pass, unlike Isiah Thomas who gets killed due to his front office career. But, now just because MJ would pick Kobe over LeBron, the media is now trying to shyt on Jordan NOW. The media's dikk-sucking for Lebron is just getting unbearable and disgusting now. :gag:

I don't think Lebron had as much trash as people think he did in Cleveland. He had a team that was tailored to his game. They couldn't get a PG because Lebron wasn't great off the ball, so they had spot-up shooters, finishers, dirty work players, on-the-ball defenders, and solid scorers. They basically tried to do what GMs did with AI. He had players that were symbiotic with what he brought to the table.

As for Lebron today. The league is watered down. There are very few superstars, just a lot of good players. Also, Lebron has teamed up with his "peers". Three of the top 5 players from his draft class is on his team. Who does he have to go through? Aging vets? So Grant Hill, Kidd & Big Dog were on one team. KG, Sheed, Stack...Kobe, AI, Ray

LeBron can't exist with a PG. He wants to be the facilitator. He can't have a Jason Kidd, a Steve Nash or a Deron Williams on his squad. That Cleveland team was exactly what you said.

And the same goes for his "peers". The only people he has to play against is Melo, Durant & Rose. We got cheated out of some amazing series between Bron & Wade for the next 8 years because they decided to do the easy thing.

Jordan is really a great evaluator of talent. I mean his eye for talent is second to none. Let’s take at the GOAT and all the great all-stars he drafted over the years.

In Washington drafting Kwame Brown 1st overall, Juan Dixon, and Jared Jeffries all these guys are all-stars and soon to be hall of famers.:shaq:

In Charlotte his “Airness” kept up his superior eye for picking the very best talent. Drafting Adam Morrison, Brandan Wright, Jared Dudley, Gerald Henderson (he ain’t half bad), and Kemba Walker.:pachaha:

Now to be fair in that 2001 draft where the great Kwame Brown was taken the GOAT only pasted on Pau Gasol, Joe Johnson, Zach Randolph, Gerald Wallace, the gun slinger Gilbert Arenas, and Tony parker. If you want to go into just solid pros he missed out on Mehmet Okur, Tyson Chandler, Shane Battier, and Richard Jefferson.:obama:

MJ evaluates talent off guys being winners so, when he picked Brandan Wright over someone like Joakim Noah, he didn’t take the two NCAA championships Joakim won with the gators into account. Well Mike if it’s about guys with a winning pedigree he could have taken Rudy Fernandez or some guy named Marc Gasol. Bu bu bu Jordan said,...............whatever nikka!

actually yeah, since its apparent u didnt watch, go look up the last 4 minutes of that game:birdman:

then go look up John Paxsons 3 in game 6 of the 93 finals

so basketball ignorant and u fools wanna talk ball with me..

:umad:

:heh: paxson is the reason the bulls "barely" beat the lakers i guess
paxson is why the bulls did away with the lakers in 5 games, the fastest finals victory for the bulls

because those 4 minutes, where the legend of johnny paxson began, and jordans huge choke legacy in the finals also began, defined the series [/sarcasm]

yea that series was decided in those 4 minutes. so crucial.

the bulls avg margin of victory in the final 4 games of that series was 11.5 points

but :whoa: it was paxson that just saved jordan's career from being tarnished.

Where's the link to where Jordan said how to stop Lebron?

The announcers gush about LeBron, mentioning him in the same sentence with Jordan, who hears every word. Those words have an effect on him. He stares at the TV and points out a flaw in LeBron's game.

"I study him," he says.

When LeBron goes right, he usually drives; when he goes left, he usually shoots a jumper. It has to do with his mechanics and how he loads the ball for release. "So if I have to guard him," Jordan says, "I'm gonna push him left so nine times out of 10, he's gonna shoot a jump shot. If he goes right, he's going to the hole and I can't stop him. So I ain't letting him go right."

For the rest of the game, when LeBron gets the ball and starts his move, Jordan will call out some variation of "drive" or "shoot."
