I will agree with the first sentence but you dead ass wrong about 90s basketball, the athleticism made it tougher than the 80s.

Naw 90's wasn't that great

MJ is so lucky he was able to duck Magic, Bird, Dr J & Isaiah in their prime & ate off the weak & diluted 90s.

:mjlol:. The 90's were not tougher than the 80's. Let's not act like the Celtics and Lakers wouldn't have scrubbed EVERY Bulls team.

Jordan was getting pushed by The Knicks...with John Starks as the 2nd leading scorer:dead:

Yes they are, the 80s had all them unskilled scrubs who were just tough guy enforcers. The Laimbeers, The Kurt Rambises

They couldn't ball like that just foul the fukk out you. But then you get into the 90s with the Jordan, Kemps, Mutombos that's when Athleticism really took over

Jordan is using the ring argument because that's the only thing that keeps him as the "goat"

It's cool cause more and more people are starting to see past that and realize how weak 90's basketball was and they know his competition in the finals was lackluster.

3 finals mvps > 2 finals mvps

So rings is the only thing keeping Jordan as goat huh? :comeon:

You nikkas man. Get over it.

Lebron James he lost 3 outta the last 4 finals he's been in.

Goats don't do that.

Bron couldn't take a team with Pau Gasol as its second best player, and crack head Lamar Odom as its 3rd to finals glory.

So my nikka was drafted in 85, halfway through the 80s. nikka came out the gate averaging 28.2 PPG. nikka didn't duck shyt.
How he duck Isiah's prime, when Isiah's prime consisted of a 2 year run of beating Jordan's Bulls :gucci:
Magic was averaging damn near a triple double when MJ met his squad in the finals. Their teams were practically evenly matched. :hubie:

The only one of those 3 he didn't beat in their prime was Bird. :francis:

You forgot to mention, half the 80's players were coke heads and alcoholics. I don't like to shyt on either era, but to say the 80's were better than the 90's is asinine. All you have to do is look at the majority of the record books.....the holder of the record came from a 90's era player. The 90's is where skill met athleticism.

Well I guess Bill Russel is the goat then by MJ logic:sas1:.

Different era. Only 8 teams in the NBA back then. More cacs. No international players.

If he won them rings in this era he would be the GOAT. But like Wilt's scoring records, they are simply not that impressive because of the era they played in.

So we moving goalposts then :troll:

Kareem got 6 vs harder competition in the Finals too :sas2:

See I'm glad this type of simplification is becoming a thing of the past.

You really think Jordan on that 07 cavs team would've won it all? They wouldn't even have made the finals. You think Jordan would've beat that Warriors team last year? You think they would've beat a 73-9 team? The 2014 spurs? The mavs yea but that's it. The teams lebron have faced in the finals are wayyy better than Jordan's competition.

If MJ and every other legend and all of Kobe's peers who played in the NBA say Kobe is better, is there really any debate left? Even John Wooden was reported to say that he thought Kobe was the best player he ever seen.

Nerds and fukk boys gravitate to LeBron on a stan level. Real nikkas respect LeBron's stature but know that Kobe was just on another level. Real nikkas utilize the Kobe system and Mamba Mentality in real life to advance and get money. Its beyond stats its the way he imposed his will on his opponents every second of every game no matter what. nikkas just felt uncomfortable going up against Kobe. Imagine how MJ felt during 98 All Star Game like who the fukk this 19 year old kid trying to flex on me?? Kobe made his presence felt from day 1 and clearly all of Kobe's peers noticed.

Bron and Kobe are both top 5 but Kobe is higher on that list, simple as that.
