Kobe vs jazz today and mj vs jazz in the finals were the 2 biggest pre retirement games of all time.
Thats what im comparing
Jordans performance was heroic, but kobes was even better when you consider the fact that utah had more than twice as many wins as the lakers

utah and chicago had comparable success that year. the jazz missed the playoffs by one game, the lakers were the 2nd worst team in the league. this was a more lopsided matchup if we're going by the numbers.

Kobe went out with a bang but I can't put these two situations together. Nba finals is a completely different animal than a throwaway regular season game. Jazz had nothing to play for. I don't think mj took 50 shots either.
Again even Kobe wouldn't make this comparison.
