Breh they really sold us a dream with telling you streaming was the wave. Cable was solid for so many years and then they wanted to switch shiit up.

When my goat speaks, I listen.

No one is built like Mike anymore. He actually cared about the fans who paid hard earned money to come watch him play. Today’s players do not give a damn about the father who had to bust his ass for a ticket to take his son to the game.
I also believe Mike loved the game. I feel like a lot of the older generation of players loved playing basketball and the newer generation sees it as a job.

MJ didn't care about no one. He's a psychopath and a fukkin degenerate gambler with an obsessive compulsive personality. Load management wasn't a thing in his era. If he entered the league now he would do the same thing. It's just a stupid take honestly. Obviously it's taking away from the game if you load management you don't have to be a fukkin scientist to tell anyone that.

He’s been saying tbis for the last 30 years tho…

I remember watching VHS tapes as a kid and Mike was talking about how important it was for him to play every game because he understood that that might be a kid one chance to see him play live.

I don’t believe for a second that Michael Jordan gave a shyt about playing 82 games for the fans. It sounds good. I just don’t believe it.

I believe he played all those games because he was a fierce competitor and because in his era, players just didn’t take games off. And it probably didn’t occur to coaches to sit players anyway, barring injury of course.

Also, and I don’t understand why today’s fan refuses to acknowledge this, the modern NBA player covers more miles per season than ever before. The demands are simply greater. That’s not an opinion. That’s a statistical fact.
Bruh MJ was and still is the biggest star the nba has ever seen. He was very aware how important he was to the league. It can be both :mjlol:
