I actually feel sorry for dudes who didn’t get to see this man play, or his peers. You really missed watching dudes play for the love and excel at he same time. They always played with a sense of pride and joy. Fans of this era are receiving a bugged out version of the NBA. Which is why Silver is using nostalgic NBA figures to bring back that feeling. As a fan, I never liked MJ (as a player) because he beat all of my favs when his team got better, and they started flagrantly cheating for him :ufdup:David Stern

but that dude is a mother who cared about the game and never cheated the game on the floor.

Load management is for those who need it, not abuse it.

Took like 5 years load management though :unimpressed:

Nah but really to load manage during home games is crazy. But I don’t know, if it’s the doctors recommend it — I’ll not be a maga and deny science. If not, dudes might just be bytch made.

But one thing to consider is that basketball is a lot more intense, explosive and more running than it once was. So it becomes a bit unfair to compare. On the other hand they played a lot more intense defense back in the days.

I think all these discussions just becomes simpleton babble. Grumpy old heads tryna shyt on the new guys, and the new guys tryna protect their era and shyt on the old heads

ATL to MEM
so is NBC gonna drip feed this one 90 minute :mjpls: interview throughout the entire year in 3 minute increments?

When i saw the interview was back on last night that is exactly what i thought. They gonna chop that interview up into as many pieces as they can and air them all season long. Jordan might as well be considered a member of the studio crew at this point.

I wouldnt be surprised if after they run through this interview they have another run set up with Magic and then Bird.

Once again, NBA discussions devolve into the same old circle jerk discussions. :russ:

At what point do we look at management decisions and they being the reason for this in the first place instead of the blaming the players? Because most NBA fans are lazy as fukk and reach for the lowest hanging fruit which are the players.

Trash as usual . Pages in and no one is talking about the suits ruining sports

Ironically suits did try to load manage MJ out of games when he got injured in his 2nd season but he said fukk that came back earlier than they wanted and managed to sneack the Bulls in the playoffs.

Most "load management" is driven by teams for health precautions or tanking reasons. This idea that player's aren't playing because they're "soft" is almost completely made up.
Wasn't there research that suggests that load management doesn't even work for health precautions?
