So why football players don’t take random games off? Imagine paying to see Lamar and he just sit out just because his team wanna “protect” their investment.
Football is inherently different than basketball.
Football players also take games off all the time, particularly near the end of the season.

Players will be rested over the course of a season. Management dictates those days of rest.

You can’t even name 10 players who are sitting out some unreasonable number of games per season due to “load management”.

You’re just mad because the thing about the old days is….they the old days.

I love MJ but shout out to Kawhi. When I think of load management him and uncle Dennis the first come to mind.

Kawhi not my NBA goat but work ethic goat he up there. Get a check and don't even play in a game. That's like finessing extra PTO on your job.
