Maybe they should have, considering Michael was making less than $5 million a season for most of his prime.
I'm not understanding what you're saying. Can you elaborate? What does MJ's salary have to do with other players joining forces to try to stop him?

What's hard to get? In 95-96 Patrick was making almost $19 million a year, while Jordan made $3.8 million. How can you beat the best player in the world while making 6x as much as him, and he has the better roster around him as a result.

Ewing & Barkley could have played together in 92 when Chuck was traded, they made $2 million and $3 million respectively, but doing that kind of thing was looked down on and as a result they are both ringless and the butt of ring jokes :yeshrug:

I had no idea who was making what back then or what the salary cap was. All I remember is MJ getting like 30 mil a year in his final years to make up for what they were paying him prior.

Ringless or not, they're still all time greats. I'm sure they take pride in being the alpha of a team and not have to recruit another star. Different era :manny:

The fact that this list was voted on in the 90s has nothing to do with this fact I'm sure.
How many players from the 2000's til now can be considered? Like 3 or 4? Iverson, Bron, Kobe, D Wade. If the list was updated, how many of the 17/18 of the 90's is getting replaced/removed? Keep in mind Kobe and Iverson were drafted in 96.

It's always the same dudes like this @Miami316 cat that go out their way to discredit the 90's. They are either
1. Young think they know it alls

or

2. Dudes who were getting herbed out in the 90's and have bad memories of being losers, so anything others remember as being good then is "overrated" to them

:what: You dont have to have been alive to watch games from different eras.
Finding a couple clips or even full games on youtube is in no way comparable to actually being alive to witness all of it unfolding as it happened, and especially does not qualify you to make judgements comparing competitive fields relative to a bunch of eras that happened before you existed.
