if only TMac was born a few years later he could've got some of that HGH or went and got those knee treatment Kobe gets in Germany

T -Mac didn't have knee problems though he had BACK problems and that shyt is ALWAYS a recipe for disaster.

Back issues fukked up Larry Johnson too

T-Mac was my personal GOAT of the early 2000's I thought he was going to be Afernee Hardaway 2.0:mjcry:

And in a way he was:sadbron:

i think i remember JVG saying something about how he had one leg slightly longer than the other or something that messed up his alignment, so i his body breaking down was probably inevitable.

Maybe it doesn't mean anything, but since 1990, the only draft classes where zero players went on to create at least 100 career Win Shares were:

1993 - 1993 NBA Draft | Basketball-Reference.com
2000- 2000 NBA Draft | Basketball-Reference.com
2002 - 2002 NBA Draft | Basketball-Reference.com

(2006 and up is too soon to tell.)

The 1993 class is led by Sam Cassell with 87.5.
The 2000 class is led by Hedo Turkoglu with 63.3.
and the 2002 class is led by Amare Stoudamire with 92.1

I realize Win Shares aren't everything, but that 2000 class has to rank up as one of the worst ever.
The top 10 picks that year were

Kenyon Martin
Stromile Swift
Darius Miles
Marcus Fizer
Mike Miller
DerMarr Johnson
Chris Mihm
Jamal Crawford
Joel Przybilla
Keyon Dooling

Marcus Camby is one of the most under-appreciated players of the last 20 years.

If you look at that 1996 draft (he went 2nd, btw) there are some impressive names there.
And I'm not saying Camby was a superstar. But he was a damn good player.

1996 NBA Draft | Basketball-Reference.com
Shoutout to Camby for being part of the squad that kick-started Coach Cal's shenanigans too. :salute:

What does this have to do with the thread? I'm not hating I'm genuinely curious.
