Karl Malone played 19 seasons in the league and played 80+ games in all but 2 of them. Won MVP and was all-defensive first team at 36 years old. These 20 somethings in their athletic prime with no history of major career threatening injuries have no fukking excuse, especially with access to the best nutrition, diet, fitness, strength, and conditioning regimens modern sports science can create and money can buy. Wilt averaged 45.8 minutes a game for his CAREER, playing in Converse throughout the damn 60s while being literally attacked and beaten by opposing defenses night in, night out. Now bytch ass AAU babies get hamstring tightness or minor bursitis and they suddenly need Fortnite "load management" sessions for days or weeks at a time. shyt is shameful :scust:

To be fair, it was a half court game at that time. A lot slower
You obviously never saw the Sonics with Payton and Kemp and other similar teams play.

That nuggets team (with Kendall Gill, Laphonso Ellis, Motumbo and Macmoud Raouf) that eliminated the Sonics as the first 8th seed to eliminate a #1 seed was also knows for being uptempo or as we used to call them "run and gun" type offenses. Same with th Derrick Coleman/Kenny Anderson Nets teams.

Truth is the game was more physically punishing back then. More physical play and harder fouls were allowed. Handchecking was also allowed and dudes were expected to NOT give up dunks and layups whereas these days a dude goes to for a dunk most Cs who's responsibility is to protect the rim typically get ouut the way

Mike speaking the truth. And im sure Kobe feels the same way :wow:

Along with every single ball player that ever laced them up and gave their all on the court every night.

I was never the biggest MJ fan throughout his career, but I watched him give the same effort a hundred times punishing the Bullets and the Hornets on a regular Monday night in November as he gave while playing the Knicks and Pacers in April/May during the playoffs.

Magic ripped it too. Even brought up flying econ class going to games. I get it people playing more these days, so they should cut season short and players cant complain about the the reduced $

MJ had a 3peat before and after that season he took off :gucci:

nah dont try to justify the bullshyt. He was in his prime playing age with no injury. He took a year off. Miss me with the crying about an athlete that legit has a chronic condition while bigging up this dude. MJ can't say shyt.
