They were 9th defensively, Bulls were 7th. Not to much of a difference broskie. :manny:

 No point bringing sense and logic into a thread. Most posters can't even count to 41 let alone understand how hard that is to accomplish it in the best basketball league in the world.

The suns were in the bottom 10 of the league in giving up ppg. :rudy:

lol these fukkboys saying that suns team wasn't shyt... they were the highest scoring team in the league in 93, had the MVP :mjpls: and won 62 games, most in the league.

barkley averaged 27, 13 and 5 in the finals, and the suns had 4 players average 15+ ppg in the finals, the bulls only had 2.

Save your smileys and elitist sarcasm old man. Who says the glove is MJ? He said "any elite" wingman could do what Jordan did. So now you have to be the GOAT to be elite? :rudy:
Dog...this was YOUR comment:

Then why didn't Gary Payton put up those numbers and beat them the previous series?

You CLEARLY mentioned GP when we're talking aobut MJ putting up those numbers.

If anyone is elitists, its the dudes overrating that Suns team

suns defense were 18th in FG% allowed.

they were not a good defensive team.

Exactly.

The same Suns team that allowed the Elden Campbell led Lakers team take a 2-0 lead on them in a best of 5 series.

THAT team was great??? :heh:

fukk outta here. Dudes stay overrating 90s squads in here.

Paul Westphal teams being good defensively.

:laff:

Any elite wingman would have lit up the Sun. Even though MJ is the greatest but I think the Sun's defense fail them more than it help them in the final. LoL@ Danny Ainge, Thunder Dan, and Kevin Johnson guarding MJ. That sh!t was a joke

What is this "we"? My mention of GP was in response to dude who said ANY ELITE WING could do what MJ did against the Suns. GP is an elite HOF player that played the same Suns team and didnt do close to what MJ did. It's not that hard to understand my point if you could read two posts and not be so quick to look for ways to point out how other posters don't know what they're talking about.

Got you now.

Either way, saying the Suns were good defensively is trash.

Paul Westphal teams don't play D.

The suns were one of the worst defensive teams to ever make the finals though. Any elite wing would've killed that team

Their interior D was horrible.Once you got pass your man on the perimeter, you was going to score that lay up.

Dan Majerle was actually a pretty good defensive player, but we're talking about MJ.

Kevin Johnson was also a pretty good defender.

That was a above average defensive back court IMO

But again, we're talking about MJ.You need good perimeter D and even better interior D just to slow him down a lil bit

The rest of that Suns team, especially on the interior:huhldup::huhldup:

Over weight/can barely stay on the floor Oliver Miller(Dude actually had a lot of potential if he could fix the weight problem.Nimble, all round skills for a man his size)and a poor man's Dale Davis in Mark West:scusthov:

Beyond that, you had a :flabbynsick:Tom Chambers.

That being said, the Suns almost took the Bulls to 7 games after losing the first 2 games at home in a 2-3-2 format.

Despite Kevin Johnson playing through injuries and missing Cedric Ceballos who gave the Bulls fits. They almost won 3 in a row, on the road, in Chicago(Thanks to a last second lay up by MJ in game 4)

Was leading by 6 with less than a minute left in game 6, but we all know what happened :wow:

Could've hosted a game 7 at home...They actually came the closest to beating the Bulls:manny:
