Heat is a solid movie but more so for the whole senior side of the house, Pacino story wise is terrible and Pacino is in a negative caricature side of his career here.

Was the book for the sequel any good?
The short answer is yes, but the movie would probably be more like Blackhat 2 than Heat
which is fine with me.
it's well drawn and detailed, but it's an almost absurd storyline, that is only somewhat held together by Mann's detail and attention to real places.
