1. AA and state required DUI classes have nothing to do with each other whatsoever, do ya googles.
2. I was driving under the influence of multiple illegal narcotics, not alcohol.
3. If i lived in the suburbs i would also see mainly whites in traffic court

Big deal ... MADD mothers has overhyped this stuff for their own profits. 99.99% of DUIs are harmless, and probably 80% of 'em, the people aren't even "drunk". It's just that on sensationalistic shows like "COPS", they show the worst .01%.

Of course, you'll get an individual here and there who says they know someone who was killed by a driver under the influence of some drug, but I bet 10x the amount of people were killed by senior citizens with slowed reaction times, but I don't see any special interest groups for that.

The DUI industry is a windfall profit-making machine designed to brainwash the public into thinking it's a larger problem than it actually is, and Michael Phelps is just another victim.

Real talk, if you making a point that stiffer penalties will only do more harm to black motorist, I can somewhat agree to that. Again, in no way was I attempting to act as of blacks are not more targeted on the road. My point was that whites arrested for DUI is more than anyone else by a significant margin. But the penalties are not the same. And my point is the penalties need to be stiffer in hopes it will equally effect white motorist. Again, I can agree that might not be the case , but it still don't hurt to complain about it.
