Nothing stopping him from following the KD mold. KD's not in too many commercials himself, I can only think of that one Degree commercial since going to GS and that was after he already signed in BK. He gets most of his non game check bread off investments and production company shyt

But yeah the wave is clearly to sign the Supermax and demand out which is what Beal will do after next offseason at some point. I'm just saying Jokic leaving is par for the course off everything that's happened so far.

Now I'm not saying that Jokic won't ever leave, but I can't see him leaving until after he gets the Supermax, which is why Beal has been loyal to Washington as he has as well. For the record, if he asks out then I think he ends up in Dallas with Luka.

:russ:
You being a real bytch nikka my G and it ain’t even a good look you can post them laughing smilies all you want.. like I said stop acting like players never turned down a max or supermax or extra year to go win.. I never said Jokic will turn down a supermax… but it’s a possibility with the moves the team is making and if signs a supermax then any trade is off the table and he’s locked in and if the team continues to slide in the wrong direction that’s an L

Just because he signs the supermax though doesn't mean that he's locked into Denver long term though.........

He could literally ask out a year into the deal. People forget that PG13 signed that extension in OKC to only end up being traded by choice a year after.

He'd be better serve taking the $250 million like Giannis did and then asking for a trade a couple of years down the line if he chooses. Injuries are too prevalent out here these days to be leaving that type of money on the table and it's not like he's Bron or KD where they can make up the bread elsewhere.
He ain’t Gannis and for Gannis it paid off he won a chip..

It's a lot of players in the league that aren't Giannis, but they are going to get offered the supermax as well. You take the $250 million and the long term security. If it doesn't work out a year or two into the deal, then you can ask out.

The only way you should turn down that type of money is if you're Bron and can make that bread elsewhere.

OKC a whole different animal.. Presti was already looking to get rid of all those contracts

It still doesn't change the premise of my point though. You can take the money and still force your way out after. It's foolish to leave that type of money on the table when teams will scrap up the contracts and assets to get you if they really want your services.

Wizards need to bite the bullet and just trade Beal at the deadline.

Denver is very much different from that upcoming team they had. Porter now signed to a max and having medical issues. Jamal also out. They lost to a crappy Orlando team. Also missing from that really balanced and deep roster they had two years ago .. no more malik Beasley, Gary Harris, Torrey Craig, jerami grant, Paul Millsap and Mason plumlee. They shut the window on themselves with these injuries and players who walked or were traded.

Again Jokic can take the supermax and play 2-3 years into the contract while Denver sucks and he force a trade or don’t take the supermax and sign to a legit contender on a one year deal and re-up on a max contract ..

either way Denver all fukked up in the game and they know it

Denver is the only team that can offer him the supermax contract, so he'd better served taking the money and then forcing his way out a few years into the contract. It's the exact reason why Beal has stayed in Washington as long as he has as he wants the 10 years of service and the supermax contract that only Washington can offer him.
