At least I can feel good about that. And there are guys in here that gave it their all. But you need consistent effort from every guy in this locker room.”

He's not doing that because of lack of effort. Of all the weaknesses I crushed Vick for (and I did a lot this season), I never questioned his effort or his heart. Dude gives his all every game.

There's an irony in his career nearing an early close because of his body getting brutally punished to the point where he can no longer adequately compete. He gets to retire with millions instead of getting drowned or electrocuted to death though.
