he seems to excel strictly as a downhill rusher with 1 task. they showed him in some space and in some stunt packages in the CFL, and he just ran around with no idea where the play was headed. dude looked lost

This is what I said "and dude came from a prestigious Div I. college program..."
So, in the big picture of things, University of Missouri has a good football program where up-and-coming kids in high school with NFL potential would take a scholarship if they were offered it to them from this school. If I were to talk about college football to a random stranger at a sports bar and I mentioned University of Missouri, they wouldn't be like "University of Missouri has a football team?"
