If anything, from a nikka perspective, I woulda thought black internet lived both or them, but most these nikkas are hoe ass nikkas . Yeah but shows like Sportscenter are great for having on in the background to see everything going on with the sports world and what the big stories are. Sportscenter still serves its purpose for people that want an overview of what's going on in the sports world. I do agree Sportscenter has gone away from that though as they have focused more on the big stories and talking heads.

Sportscenter doesn't tell me much of anything in 2018, when I watch. (which is rarely)

They don't need to work on creating the old wheel for the new generation. They need to do something radical taht fits this era. Sportscenter doesn't fit anymore.

If they gave us a show where they talk to people at each arena for the big game, and do interviews. Give us access to whats going on behind hte scenes. Preparations, etc. You can splice in highlights, but access to coaches and athletes is more important to me, along with discussing the major day's topic.

But even on here you aren't going to really stay up to date on what's happening game to game on baseball or hockey or tennis or golf. We get some highlights here but we aren't getting highlights for every game or see who performed well. We just see the crazy highlights on here.

Yes there's a young generation of fans who get their sports news and highlights through different means but there is still a huge portion of the population that gets their info the old fashioned way through watching sportscenter.

The stuff you're suggesting takes even further away from what the purpose of a sportscenter show is supposed to be about. The ideas you're suggesting I think would work more for an ESPN2 type deal. I think a big mistake ESPN made is basically making both channels the same. I think if they added more variety between the two channels it would go far. ESPN News as well.

I just looked at Sportscenter as the nightly news or morning news for sports fans. Something to kick on and just go to sleep with or have on while getting ready in the morning to get a picture of what happened during the day. To me the biggest mistake is ESPN only focusing on the big stories and having 3-4 sections of a show devoted to the same topic. There will be games that occur where you won't even see highlights for them or nothing said about them. After a while it's overkill because they are rehashing the same topic all day on all the talking heads shows so that by the time sportscenter comes on there is no point in watching.

They should've just negotiated more money for His & Hers, I tweeted Hill before they even started the show and told her shyt was going to go different. She was like "naw, what you think they hired us to be?" I told her it was going to be different because they were being paid more money, so the execs were going to change shyt.
