There’s no deflection about anything I said. Do a simple Google search and you’ll see their skeletons have been talked about and discussed in depth over the years.
Because he was out in the most prominent Black athletes to fight for Black Americans, how do you not think these accusations where orchestrated by the FBI.
The FBI had unlimited resources of informants and there are stories of FBI informants getting into relationships/very close with Black targets.
King had so many informants around him, one of his good friend Ernest Withers was an FBI informants.
why yall like blaming white folks for everything? like Micheal Smith of all people doesn't have his own mind?
No one is judging anybody, but the good and bad should be mentioned when it’s your time.So he was a flawed human like everyone else? We judging people for being flawed? Okay don’t cry when it’s your time
How did he terrify the black community? We’re people running in fear of Jim brown ?A lot of y’all can’t handle objective conversation. Like no, this shouldn’t be the headline of his death, but if you gonna do a segment on the man, it’s absolutely part of it. Lol @ stay on code, y’all really expect code to be “it’s ok for black people to terrify our own community, just don’t mention it for others to hear”
Again, not what I'm saying.A lot of y’all can’t handle objective conversation. Why do we only hold this concept with black people? And if all people are flawed, shouldn’t we retroactively go back and bring up their past?No one is judging anybody, but the good and bad should be mentioned when it’s your time.
Anything otherwise is trying to rewrite history and your life story.
That concept is done with everyone and not just black people. Let’s not act like these think pieces aren’t being done with others as well. Why do we only hold this concept with black people? And if all people are flawed, shouldn’t we retroactively go back and bring up their past?
So when a black person is killed by the cops or a racist, we should bring up the things that happened in his life that might not be “so good”? People are flawed and we all have done wrong. Bringing it up to denigrate and judge a person in the grave is unfair and tone death imo
What other media is it going to happen on?Again, not what I'm saying.
I'm questioning why it's so important for us to "reconcile the complicated legacy" in mainstream aka cac media of notable Black people who have died and their bodies aren't even cold when other "complicated" legacies get glazed the hell over and those families, fans, and community get the respect and space to honor and grieve their dead.

Bro when we bring up the founding fathers nobody in society are calling them racist and racist which they were. People get tattoos of them and call them great men. Them owning and raping slaves is never even thought about. That concept is done with everyone and not just black people. Let’s not act like these think pieces aren’t being done with others as well.
Once again, just because you aren’t checking for those stories and pieces doesn’t mean that they don’t exist. The majority of posters wouldn’t even have known about Smith’s comments if the thread didn’t exist.
