Black comic book geeks have been saying this for years. The problem with her statement though is that she doesn't address the lack of financial and social support for comics and movies to feature non-white characters. I'm sure there are plenty of unsolicited manuscripts and scripts for comics and films featuring non-white superheros.... in trash at some white studio.

You do know the mass amount of black comic book characters was made by milestone comics and was acquired by DC.,... They're just sitting on the shyt!!!
fact of the matter is the films studios only care about money she should be happy that these black actors are paving the way for her spanish ass. one day they will greenlight a superhero movie with a Latina major role in it... The fact remains that Warner aint gonna start putting milestone comics on the big screen until after the justice league...thats how it needs to be i wish spike would get off his ass and get something like this together with a bunch of stars. im not a big tyler perry fan but he's another one i guess. the problem is when some of them get the mainstream exposure black majority cast movies are beneath them...idk if thats what happened to Chris.
