I got what you said. You said he should put in more effort in getting black hollywood types together and building something with them. I'm saying.. he's already done that but also alot of these negroes in hollywood today don't really appreciate him like that and the proof can be seen/heard in how they react to certain things... like his opinion on Django Unchained. Look at how many black producers/directors/actors came lashing out at him or tried to check him.... instead of simply respecting his opinion as someone who fought and opened the door for them to make movies.... they ran to defend Quentin Tarantino.
Another thing... Spike Lee isn't the only skilled black director. You have guys like Carl Franklin and Charles Burnett who put out great movies but struggle to get funding these days. But you also have.... Antoine Fuqua who is fresh off of 2 hit movies (THe Equalizer, Olympus Has Fallen) Tim Story has had a small string of hits recently (Think Like A Man, Too, Ride Along). Lee Daniels, Tyler Perry, etc. All successful all could be getting off their asses and pulling together to build something within Hollywood...
On a side note, keep Lee Daniels FAR AWAY from any black superhero movies. I heard he wanted to create a gay action hero movie with an interracial couple.
