No offense to Puerto RIcans or Dominicans. And not trying to come off as racist, but I find it

that islander Hispanics look to their so called "Taino" ancestry as superior, while their African one as inferior.
I find it funny because the Taino people:
- Did not progress passed the stone age technology.
- Their culture was largely primitive and they were mostly nude.
- They had no architecture.
- They were immediately wiped out by European settlers directly or indirectly.
Meanwhile Africans back on the continent.
- Actually not only progressed passed the stone age, but entered the iron age independently.
- They actually have architecture.
- Their culture was more organized and complex compared to Taino culture.
- They were not wiped out by Europeans, but continued on.
- Some areas actually had written languages.
- Lets not forget that Islander Hispanics culture especially Dominicans and Cubans are largely African influenced.
Mind you Dominicans mostly descend from people from Angola, who had civilizations such as this:
So please explain to me how Taino ancestry is more superior to the African one? When the African one played a larger influence in developing their culture!
