I am sorry.....but why would any clear thinking Michigan resident ever vote for Democrats? Hasn't the Democratic party done enough damage to your once great state? Michigan went from being one of the most wealthy states in America to a third world hellhole in the span of a few decades under Democrat control. You have cities like Detroit declaring bankruptcy, companies fleeing the state, the population rapidly declining, politicians like Kwame Kilpatrick getting sent to prison, etc..........and you think people should continue to vote for the party behind all of that?????

Here in Ohio we elected Republican John Kasich as our governor in 2010 and haven't looked back. So far he has closed a $8 billion budget deficit without raising taxes, created hundreds of thousands of jobs, got the states credit rating upgraded, etc. and yesterday was re-elected by a 62-38 percent landslide. Republican Scott Walker in Wisconsin has done pretty much the same thing in his state as well. Obviously people in liberal states like Michigan and Illinois are seeing the success of Republicans in Ohio and Wisconsin and want to experience that where they live.

Haven't people in Michigan suffered enough under Democrats? Why would you wish more misery on them with more Democratic control? There is a reason everyone in Michigan is moving to more conservative states like Texas, Florida, Georgia, Carolinas, etc. Liberal policies are destroying the Midwest.

See I would agree with you on Democrats fukking up in Detroit. Kwame fukked that shyt all the way up. But GM failing wasn't a political thing. That shyt was a natural disaster on several levels. Entire neighborhoods being evacuated because of the massive layoffs and cuts that happened. The bailout saved GM and pretty much saved what was left of Detroit afterwards. But it wasn't liberal policies that messed up Michigan. Now Snyder..I'm still in shock that he got re-elected because of one major thing....Dude is a probably one of the biggest liars of all time. We aren't talking about parsing or being sneaky he flat out lied. I don't know if you remember the fist fights that broke out in Lansing over the Unions but Snyder when elected said he would not touch the Unions.....this is Michigan, STRONG union state....He went and got rid of them...LOL And he is taking credit for all the stuff Dan Gilbert is doing in Detroit, I seriously thought there was no way in hell he would get re-elected. It was as if George Bush was running for President again....it's just shocking.
