so his neighbors had the time to look up the govt agency responsible for enforcing this, take a pic of his house and write a snitching letter, but they didn't have the time to help him uproot a few weeds? must be surrounded by cacs.

It's crazy. It takes less time to push a weed over and cut the main stem than to go through all this. Or how about doing a wellness check on a neighbor just to see whats up? Dude is literally forced into court because he was too sick to maintain his yard. Only to have a judge scold and emasculate him.

For a neighbor to report that all the way up to court probably knowing an old sick man lived there, is petty as hell. Now if a neighbor offered to help and the old man was nasty to them, then all bets are off but it doesnt appear that happened.
She could have given the man 14 days to get the lawn cut or face a fine. Or simply fined him and kept all that extra shyt to herself. But she wanted it known that she wants a senior citizen with health issues thrown in jail for having high grass.

My grandfather would go cut the elderly folks grass in his hood for YEARS cause he knew some of them had nobody to help them. And folks are now returning the favor since he is in his 90's.
Our society is trash now days and only getting worse.
