You can't be optimistic with these damn Republicans purposefully trying to screw people over. I saw that Fox News Commentator catch a couple shots to the face because he was trying to push this mess to a bunch of old union dudes. See the real problem is that Republicans can't deal with the fact that the country doesn't believe in their form of governance anymore. Demographics are changing and they lost the Presidency two times in a row to a Black guy. They are in shock that Asians are not voting for them anymore! Latinos will never vote for them because of the way they talk about immigration. There entire philosophy is right now and they are mad. So they pull little crap like this in Michigan just to be petty. But hey if people want to work for less that's their business. More opportunity for me and others who don't mind paying these idiots Wal Mart wages. Hopefully I can make my way to the 1% quicker now that labor wages will be going down.

Damn right. These huge corporations are about to be soooo good..Why can't we!?!? Americans don't want to be paid decently for their work....they want Right to Work......OKAY!!! When that flood of low wage jobs hit they are going to be sick. Republicans are going to saying employment is up in Michigan. With people working two jobs when they could have had one that paid decently. People are stupid to trust Republicans.

Two sweeping bills aimed at limiting abortion options moved closer to Gov. Rick Snyder's desk Wednesday, adding to two others already awaiting his signature.

From a chaotic Lansing, where protests over right-to-work this week had overshadowed abortion concerns, Ed Rivet, spokesman for Michigan Right to Life, was thrilled.

"Those three issues were our top issues: conscience, insurance, and regulation and reform," he said, referring to the issues addressed in the bills. "That we're doing them all simultaneously is pretty remarkable.

"This is a bit of rewards for 25 years of work."

The lame-duck state Legislature rammed right-to-work legislation into Michigan law in just five days. Now, the same merry band is poised to gut women's reproductive rights.

Two bills that would dramatically change the way women obtain birth control and other reproductive services have been wending their way to Gov. Rick Snyder's desk. They'll soon be joined by another, aimed at restricting access to abortion.
