Nah. Thats for premeditated murders. His punch caused the mans death but no one throws the first punch with the intent to kill. Thats the key word, intent. To stick a murder charge, they would prove that he planned to kill the guy, and intended to kill him with a single punch in an altercation. Impossible in court.
