I don't understand this argument anymore.
If they changed things up and turned things around for the company, wouldn't the shareholders be happy if stock rose as a result? This method they're currently using isn't working. I think they'd be okay with a change.
You're right but those shareholders, the guys who sit on a board, etc are probably more interested in ad revenue than a good product. Not everyone on a board is a creative person, they only see the bottom line and if the bottom line still looks good to them, and the ad revenue increases and the amount of channels to access the product continue to multiply in order to multiply that ad revenue, that's all they care about. The fact that a better product would lift all of those boats is probably a miss to them especially since I'm willing to bet that a lot of those cats don't even watch.
