I remember Foley talking about concussion syndrome and how he thinks it may have affected him, maybe Punk don't wanna end up forgetting shyt and walking with a limp for the rest of his life........HOWEVER, if he's too proud to take a break and let his body heal, that's on him :ld:

Mind over matter and willpower can only take you put so far, your body can only take but so much without proper rest and recuperation

I said awhile ago that all top stars should take an extended vacation, mandatory after a certain number of dates/appearances/years/matches or whatever would come first. Longevity is the key, killing yourself for the "glory" of the "sport" is incomprehensible in the cartoon world of professional wrestling. You should never put the fans or company over your health, never, that's asinine.

Taking his ball and going home so suddenly leads me to believe, it's more psychological than physical but it all adds up in the end so not only is he hurting physically but he's frustrated mentally and that in turn wears you down emotionally, turrible combination. Either way, there's a better way to handle business and this wasn't it. It was unprofessional, he could've easily let Vince know ahead of time he needs time of ASAP due to physical problems or worked a VERY light schedule (PPV only type deal) but no.

Wish Phil Brooks aka CM Punk the best on his future endeavors but........I wouldn't blame the 'E if they never fukked with him again.

I heard punk got money stashed up, it's not like he needs that wrestlemania money. plus he might be working with the ufc guys anyways. he doesnt strike me as a money guy he seems like he's kinda honerable. vince kept screwing him and he got tired of the bullshyt. simple.

Bryan goes over the top stables on a weekly basis....

I fully expect Punk to be #30 at the 2016 Rumble, at the least. Only so many times you can go to Comic Con

Guys aren't able to take time off because they risk losing their spot. (Unless, of course, you are John Cena or the random 400 pound big man.) Punk was smart to step down when he did.

If this is all legitimate, then he sacrificed his 'Mania money in order to make a point. If you are committed to a career that you enjoy, then you will get to the point where money fails to motivate you.

If you aren't content with your working conditions, you won't be satisfied until they change. (Or until you've reevaluated what you're willing to tolerate.)

Exactly sometimes you just gotta have the integrity to walk away. NFL guys do it alot too, they make their money and just bounce. i mean ricky williams did it, i think

It's mind boggling that a physical profession this brutal to the body operates on being on the road perpetually, with two days off per week and no offseason from the time you walk in to, if you're lucky, the next 10 to 15 years. There's no way that's good for you, and I think the only reason it's legal in this PC, safety and sensitivity conscious day and age, is that people don't really give a fukk about professional wrestling like that. Because if the average person or the press really sat and thought about what they go through, I gotta believe by now they'd be on it like concussions in the NFL, teaching your kids not to throw curve balls until they turn 16, stopping boxing matches before dudes take too much damage, etc.

It still wasnt enough for the smarks

Could you Imagine if cena or god forbid triple h held the belt for 434 days

:russ::russ::russ:
But he left because of his "integrity" :heh:

Brehs

All this "not used right" and crap about his spot...IS FAKE. Nobody owes cm punk shyt theyve done right by him. He has not been screwed by anyone. There is no integrity play here.
