My career/job is easy, I do what I want, it’s chill, and I enjoy it, but I still have to actually be present to do it. I want everyone else reporting to the office too, just like me. You don’t like it? Quit. If you’re fortunate enough to have a WFH job, fukk you.

Probably one of the least intelligent observations I’ve read in all the wfh and return to office talk.

The idea that someone who prefers remotely is not passionate is mediocre/toxic middle manager talk.

And it goes to show you don’t get how people function, which means you couldn’t lead people.

I have worked in-office and remotely sitting in the sun - one thing I never did was slack off.

You hire adults, the work will get done because they are passionate about their careers.

Thinking reversing wfh to “cut the slack” and thinking people working at an office are somehow magically not ever slacking is completely ridiculous.

Exactly I work harder at home than I did in the office.

For example my hours is 8-4, but it's 430 now and I'm still working on a report. If my azz was in the office I would have left exactly 4

Depends on the job. If you have a job that is purely based on repetitive tasks then it doesnt matter where you work. But in every office ive ever worked in random shyt always comes down the pipe and its easier to go grab someone at their cubicle or office for a quick discussion than sending an email which some people try to ignore. I know whenever i travel to different offices a lot of the stuff i actually end up doing were not on my initial agenda.

Hey… I’m being honest. This is the only thing that I hate on. I’ll admit that I’m a hater regarding this topic. I’m being “tongue in cheek” and joking, but a part of me truly does feel some type of way about it.


Either we all work from home, or we all don’t. First Responders, pilots, chefs. shyt… I’m sure that those professions would all love to work from home too. They don’t have the opportunity though.

yup that's me. Sometimes I'll be watching basketball at like 8 or 9 and still working.
If I ever have to go back in the office I won't work a minute more than I have too

Honestly, they’ll probably lose talent to other companies WFH and guaranteed it’s already going to cause divisiveness and create dialogue amongst employees at the work place.

this, I'm supposed to go into work twice a week but my boss doesn't press me on that shyt because she knows I'll quit and she can't afford to lose me in my position as I'm one of the few subject matter experts who didn't leave when they started this shyt.
