XBone was in a great position to maintain grow their market share, but fukked up majorly for their whole battle for the living room bullshyt. Problem is Xbox didn’t grow their developers or infrastructure that’s why they in the spot they’re in now.

They let Rod Ferguson alienate the gears base, had no leadership at 343, and pissed on Rare. Also they had a strong relationship with Sega early on where they should have continued that partnership for IP revivals.
Sega is a 3rd party dev.

The coalition has been very successful as has Rare.

The irony of all of this is that it reminds me of the movie "Pirates of Silicon Valley", which Sony and Microsoft battling over the cloud/online service that was introduced by these sad blokes:
