Sony was forced to put it on all platforms due to the MLB which is why they cant stop the game from appearing on gamepass every year. Microsoft directly deals with MLB. Bungie was an exception and shocking but Sony was desperate.

You are not understanding. Sony makes MLB the show and it makes them good money. Sony wanted to keep it exclusive to their system because they are using an in house studio. MLB tells them make it for all platforms or you wont have our license.
