Microsoft admits "Tomb Raider 2" is a Timed-exclusive

Microsoft should know people would start jumping on them for this. They should have clearly talked to Crystal Dynamics to deliver a CLEAR message as to wtf was going on.

At this point it is. Why would they say its coming to PS4/PC if they have not made that decision/signed those contracts/begun development yet?

Microsoft had the chance to stomp all that noise immediately by just saying "Play on XBOX One" first during negotiations like they do with all the COD map packs...you DO know why they do that with COD map packs...right?

With COD maps they are already being made and are definitely coming to ps4. Obviously tomb raider is not at that point right now. Microsoft is just giving their side of it. It's coming to X1 in 2015 and square enix will decide from there

It really all boils down to either trying to give the impression that it will be exclusive forever or incompetence. Either one is bad and because of the way Crystal Dynamics worded it? It hurts Microsoft...and they should have known that with the amount of heat the xbox division is under.

Y'all are really nuts. There's literally dozens of titles that were marketed as Sony exclusives and made it to other platforms yet nobody got mad at Sony or demanded they tell how long and when/what platforms the game is coming to next.

Disingenuous as usual. What game started off as a multi-platform, sold millions on both sides but sold more on one particular side, and then that side was cut off from the sequel? None.

Ironically tomb raider 2 was kept off of Saturn due to Sony's money.

Square enix made a big jump from primarily Nintendo for final fantasy over to Sony

EA didn't support dreamcast due to Sony money.

Its not a real exclusive so you should be happy about the situation and "Holiday" in the announcement made it clear that there was a possibility of it being a timed exclusive. But I guess some want to play dumb on this forum just so they can argue about it. Must be a slow news day for gaming.

It was confirmed to be multiplat in less than 24 hours and again, Holiday in the announcement made was kind of a give away.
