Microsoft admits "Tomb Raider 2" is a Timed-exclusive

So its not a big deal if it was announced as an exclusive on reveal but its okay to announce that its not 24 hrs later? I wonder would M$ would have said anything if people didn't make a "big deal" out of this according to you

Its still an exclusive at this point. Microsoft can only talk about the deal they made not the future of the franchise which is unclear at this point.

Why do you continue to play dumb? Everyone, including yourself, said it was most likely a timed exclusive in the thread yesterday right after the announcement.

We had a guess that it was but if a major company claims its exclusive than it is. Actually M$ are always the ones that claims that something is coming first to their brand or some cod dlc etc so why would they go out their way to say its exclusive yesterday instead of saying "coming to xbox first"

not surprised, that's why they kept making sure to say 'only on xbox1 for holiday 2015'....it'll probably come to other systems about 5/6 months later.....shouldve just said 'play it first on xbox1', and this wouldnt have been necessary....

wasnt necessary anyway cause this is much to do about nothing....if ms had the game exclusively, it wouldve sucked for owners of other platforms, but so what?...that's how the cookie crumbles sometimes, besides, there are plenty of games on all platforms....

like @Liquid said: that was just bad pr....especially when CD wrote that letter making it seem like an xbox1 only title, ms shouldve cleared that shyt up right then...since they didnt, they shouldve done like the other cat said: not admit it....at that point, they wouldve been better off having people believe it was an exclusive....when it came out on other systems, they couldve said 'we never said it wouldnt'....

Everybody was willing to toss TR2 in the bushes and make it competition for UC4 anyways.

Ironically tomb raider 2 was kept off of Saturn due to Sony's money.

Square enix made a big jump from primarily Nintendo for final fantasy over to Sony

EA didn't support dreamcast due to Sony money.
