I'd like to see online play across all platforms but I feel the same way. Right now this sounds to me like some fine print political speak again. They've mentioned their competition specifically before. Why be vague now? Maybe because they figure this will never happen so they just throw it out there as an idea so it can look like it never came through because Sony blocked it. Again, I would definitely like to see this happened and have mentioned before in other threads that it doesn't make sense for consoles to no play with each other online.

Thread title is misleading as no statement anywhere shows that XB1 users will be able to play with PS4 users. This whole thing came from an announcement that XB1 will be able to play rocket league with PC players, like the PS4 has been doing with this particular game for a while now.
