its clear to me now that MS had an actual vision and plan for this gen, moreso than the other big 2. i wouldnt know that if hadnt bought the xbone though

and youre getting this from someone who has always had a sony bias. but its clear (by comparison) they didnt really have a plan except to not get left behind.
and nintendo has been criticized for the aimless nature of wii u's UI
this is not true...all the big 3 had visions, ms and nin's just not going the way they wanted, so they're admending their plans....which is business...
as for the topic: that's cool and something that benefits the gamers....i'm all for it.....ps+ used to do something similar with trial periods, at least on ps3....dont know if they do it on ps4, havent looked for it....
so plus doesnt do trial periods on ps4, like they did on ps3?....i havent looked, so i dont know....but i guess you confirming they dont....that sucks....they're probably bring it back with the news of what ms is doing....

Theyve finished third place every gen and are once again in third place. Xbox has never and will never Dominate a gen.
Xbox one is a great system. Which is why these same dudes one here everyday trying to convince themselves otherwise.

Yup, every game I currently own is digital.
i understand that, but just cause they are making adjustments to their original plan and starting to see success doesnt mean the other 2 didnt have plans...sony and nin had plans when they launched their systems too...the majority of companies have plans when they launch something, that's business....it's just that not all plans work how they'd like them to, so they make adjustments...that's what ms is doing right now....the main adjustment they've made: they've realized that the xbox 1 is a video game system first and foremost....which is benefical for gamers, like the topic this thread is about....
