They should just remove Game Pass from existence entirely. It’s a plague to Microsoft’s bottom line. As a shareholder I would be pleased today if Game Pass didn’t exist tomorrow and as a gamer I no longer care about it. I’ll buy the games I want mostly on discount.

It conditions people to not purchase their games. It was cute when they put out a handful of games a year but now if all their major games are on this service people not gonna wanna buy them. Microsoft gaming CEO should kill Game Pass and Xbox hardware yesterday and focus on being the most successful publisher in gaming on hardware platforms people actually want to buy selling games.

I know some people will cry about it here but ultimately what will they end up doing? Return to buying the games they want to play as they should.

There is alot of AAA stuff yeah, but there’s a lot of filler that ends up being kind of cool.

Let them go there. Those are not valuable customers anyway. They’re just using Game Pass to get outsized value from the company for little in return. Those are the people who should be buying these games and supporting the developers not paying some minimal fee and getting to play all these games for next to nothing.

If its all about shareholder value, MS should get out this business entirely and spin off Xbox as a private entity. Shareholders suck the value out of everything with a spark.
