that's actually not how it works. Microsoft sells the console to the stores at the same price. Then tbe retailers are the ones who do the price cuts. Microsoft making the same amount of money per console regardless

He works in retail distribution or some shyt and can explain it in detail correctly. But, to summarize the retailers dropped the price to move stock thats collecting dust and passing those losses off to microsoft.
