Never thought the day would come where I want to switch to Mac.
and you're switching to mac because? they have a subscription service? where they update it all the time? not once per year. but literally all year long.
this is not your normal windows upgrade experience once you get windows 10. they have methods now where they get enough feedback thru the system as well as people calling in/emailing, etc. they can fix an issue and have it sent out as an update to the windows OS in a matter of weeks. vs months. sorry but you have to pay for that level of excellence.
you go to mac. fine. just know. unless they switch it up. if their are any issues. those wont be resolved any time soon. especially if its not a super big issue. and you will have to wait for whenever the next apple OS comes out. vs having new stuff and new things all year long every year thereafter.
and lets talk about the cost of windows(non enterprise editions).i believe windows 10 pro is $150.00 to $199. not sure which is which. but lets go on the high end.
they just said $7.00 for enterprise. and lets say they charged you $5.00 a month for windows pro since it falls under enterprise. It will take you 30 months. to reach the retail price if we're saying its $150. if its $199 its approx 40 months. windows OS usually last a few years. there's 12 months in a year. thats already over 2 years worth. and thats without all the updates and upgrades they will now be making with their windows 10 subscription service setup. you're actually getting more bang for your buck even with this subscription service. it's just that people dont like more bills. truth is. if you're paying $200 out right or $200 in 40 months its still....$200.00 and actually it means you have the rest of your money collecting interest in the bank or working for you in some other manner while you pay your monthly fee vs paying all at once.
